A plan for
your operation.
AI event filtering is priced per camera. Detection and notification is quoted per site, with after-hours or around-the-clock coverage. Choose the model that fits your operation.
01 / Site plansAI Detection & Notification (per site): pick your coverage.
Intrusion Detection is the base plan on every site: people and vehicles confirmed on your existing cameras, nuisance triggers filtered, your contacts called, texted and emailed when something real happens. What Intrusion Detection covers →
Night Watch
- Nights, weekends and public holidays (the hours sites actually get hit)
- People and vehicles detected on your existing cameras, with nothing new to buy or install
- Filters the false alarms that bury traditional motion detection: possums, headlights, weather
- Guards and owners only called when it’s real, by SMS, call or email in seconds
- Alert pages and event history your insurer can actually read
- No lock-in. Month to month, cancel when you like.

- Everything in Night Watch, around the clock
- Built for yards open to the public, unattended day shifts, and high-value stock on display
- Same configured notification channels (SMS, call, email), tuned separately for business hours and after hours
- Works with the cameras and NVR already on the wall
- Add detection products (Fire & Smoke, Gate Watching) without changing plans
- No lock-in. Scale cameras up or down as the site changes.

Get a site quote →Site Network
- Mixed coverage per site: after-hours where it fits, 24/7 where it doesn’t
- Consolidated invoicing across the whole portfolio
- Consolidated alerting: one escalation chain per site, per region, or per portfolio
- Detection products scoped per site, priced per portfolio
- Priority onboarding and a named contact.
Fire & Smoke and Gate Watching scoped per portfolio ↓
Scope your portfolio →Filtering is priced at $10–15 AUD per camera per month. Site detection and notification plans start from $99 AUD per month after hours or $190 AUD around the clock. Final site pricing depends on camera count, coverage and detection products.
02 / Extend your coverageAdd detection products, priced per site.
Products are orthogonal to coverage hours: whichever plan you pick above, the same three products are available on it.
Intrusion Detection
People and vehicles confirmed on your existing cameras, false alarms filtered, contacts notified by call, SMS and email.
- Night WatchIncluded
- Full WatchIncluded
- Site NetworkIncluded per site
Fire & Smoke Detection
Camera-based flame and smoke detection with the same call, SMS and email notification. A supplementary early-warning layer, not a replacement for code-compliant fire detection.
- Night WatchAdd-on, per site
- Full WatchAdd-on, per site
- Site NetworkScoped per portfolio
Gate Watching
Your gate rules in plain English on the camera that sees the gate. Vael alerts on the rule; it does not open gates and does not integrate with access-control hardware.
- Night WatchAdd-on, per site
- Full WatchAdd-on, per site
- Site NetworkScoped per portfolio
Each product is quoted per site because camera angles, lighting and distances decide what’s detectable, not a price list.
Run a monitoring station?
AI pre-screening for A1/A2 control rooms. Your operators only see real events. Slots into your existing CMS. 14-day pilot, no card required.
Why filtering is priced per camera, and detection plans per site.
Filtering is a uniform per-camera compute service. The AI checks every event from a camera and discards the false alarms, returning a verdict into your existing control room or CMS. Because it is the same work on every stream, it carries one published rate: $10 to $15 per camera per month. Two things move you within that band: the detection method (an object detector for people and vehicles sits at the cheaper end, full vision-language analysis at the dearer end) and volume (higher camera counts trend toward $10). Specialised filtering, tuned to a risk beyond people and vehicles, is scoped and quoted per site.
AI Detection & Notification is priced per site because it depends on what each site needs: the full alerting chain (SMS, call and email escalation), arming schedules, and event and audit pages. That is the Night Watch and Full Watch plans above, from $99 per site per month. Filtering feeds your own system; the per-site plans are the complete detect-and-notify product.
Two ways to connect, one price.
Site snapshots. Your camera or NVR sends event-triggered images to Vael over SFTP or FTP. Nothing new on the network, no extra bandwidth, and it works on virtually any existing NVR, so it suits sites on constrained uplinks.
Realtime streams. A continuous RTSP feed lets Vael analyse live video for sites whose network supports it.
The published filtering price band applies to the supported source method agreed for your deployment. Snapshot and stream inputs provide different observations, so image quality, event timing and available bandwidth affect detection. We confirm compatibility and commission the source before use.
Calculate Your Savings
Filtering pays for itself by cutting the guard callouts you spend on false alarms. Figures are illustrative. Set the sliders to what your site actually pays.
Without AI filtering
With Vael filtering
Illustrative only. Filtering is priced at $10 to $15 per camera per month, with volume pricing that steps the rate toward $10 as camera counts grow. The model assumes filtering (typically over 90% in our deployments) prevents most false-alarm callouts; a 10% residual stays in the Vael column. The per-site AI Detection & Notification plans (from $99 per site per month) are a separate product and are not modelled here. Your own callout rates will differ; adjust the sliders.
